Match summary - Nithya

Indus (72/5 in 19.4 overs) beat Bridges (71/9 in 25 overs)

Bridges arrived with 10 players. Kishan asked Azeem if they can field a player from Gladiators, who were playing in the adjacent ground. Azeem duly accepted the request. Bridges won the toss and elected to bat first. The very first ball of the innings was hit for a boundary by Joseph. After 2 overs, Bridges were around 11 without loss. But suddenly, against the run, they lost 2 quick wickets. This brought Aditya at the crease who lasted all of 2 balls, being caught at the boundary by Pramod. Phani soon followed to an excellent catch by Milind who was standing up to Akshat. At the break, Bridges were 38/6 and soon they were 47/8 with only one wicket remaining. This is when Naveen decided to hit out and with Bala, he added 24 valuable runs. Amidst all the tension, Milind got injured while attempting a runout reducing Indus to 10 batsmen. The Indus innings started badly and from 27/1 they were reduced to 28/4. This is when Raj played his rescue act yet again and Indus managed to win comfortably loosing only 1 more wicket in the process and with more than 5 overs to spare.
